Responsible for leading the EHS program and management systems (heavy focus on safety) for a (400) employee production plant. Manage EHS activities through an ISO based platform, maintain EHS metrics, recordkeeping and plant communications. Represent the site regarding any safety leadership councils and work closely with the corporate EHS team.  Enhance programs such as ergonomics, machine guarding, training initiatives and related management systems. 
 
This is a roll up your sleeves position - visible on the plant floor and building strong relationships with employees at all levels. 
 
Must have at least (5) years of industrial experience, degree in related technical field with the ability to coach employees and drive accountability.
