Sales Engineer – Motion Control 

A globally recognized motion control leader is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth across the New England region. This role is ideal for technically adept professionals with a background in servo automation, mechatronics, or electromechanical systems, who excel at both direct and distributor-based sales strategies.

You’ll play a key role in expanding business with OEMs, end users, and distribution partners—managing complex sales cycles and developing custom solutions that solve real-world challenges in automation and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow territory revenue through a combination of direct and indirect sales channels

  • Promote servo automation solutions to OEMs, integrators, and distributors

  • Conduct technical consultations, value-based presentations, and solution development

  • Provide forecasting, manage pricing proposals, and support post-sale delivery

  • Lead product trainings and customer education sessions

  • Capture competitive insights and identify new application opportunities

  • Maintain CRM records, manage quotes, and ensure account follow-through

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline

  • 2–3+ years of experience in servo automation, motion control, or industrial automation

  • Experience with OEMs, distributors, and project-based sales cycles

  • Technical fluency in servo sizing (mechanical/electrical), precision gearboxes, and control systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Microsoft CRM preferred)

  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to travel 50–75%
