A leading global manufacturer known for innovation and sustainability is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineering Manager to lead enterprise security initiatives and manage a skilled technical team in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Cybersecurity Engineering Manager will lead a team responsible for deploying and supporting enterprise security technologies, managing vulnerability programs, and delivering risk and compliance insights. This role oversees the lifecycle and performance of global cybersecurity platforms and collaborates closely with both IT and operational technology teams.

This position reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Security Engineering & Support team, managing personnel, budgets, and delivery of secure enterprise solutions.

  • Oversee deployment, lifecycle management, and operational support of enterprise security technologies across IT and end-user environments.

  • Own and execute the organization’s vulnerability management strategy, ensuring visibility and reduction of attack surfaces.

  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity risk and compliance dashboards to support data-driven decisions.

  • Manage operational security functions such as privileged access provisioning and IT compliance activities.

  • Collaborate with corporate and plant-level teams—including OT/Manufacturing (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA)—to build secure, resilient solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT, infrastructure, or cybersecurity.

  • 2+ years managing IT or cybersecurity professionals.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

  • Eligible to access controlled technology as defined by U.S. export regulations.

Preferred:

  • Experience leading vulnerability management programs.

  • Background in securing manufacturing or operational technology environments.

  • Departmental budget management experience.

  • Active security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+).

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
