Senior IAM Operations Analyst

Our client a Fortune 100 organization is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Operations Analyst to join its Cybersecurity team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring secure access to systems, applications, and data across a large, multi-state enterprise. The position may be based in MA or NY, with additional remote flexibility for candidates residing in nearby Northeast states.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll help maintain and optimize the organization’s identity governance and access control ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for ensuring proper user access, maintaining IAM platforms, supporting compliance, and contributing to process improvements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily monitoring and administration of identity and access requests

  • Executing user provisioning and de-provisioning workflows

  • Maintaining identity repositories and ensuring synchronization across SailPoint, Active Directory, and HR systems

  • Coordinating quarterly and annual access certification campaigns

  • Supporting IAM-related projects, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements

  • Documenting procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps

  • Participating in training to stay aligned with emerging IAM practices

About You

  • 5+ years in an IAM analyst or operations role within a mid-to-large enterprise

  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint (IdentityNow or IdentityIQ)

  • Strong expertise in Active Directory administration

  • Solid understanding of IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, LDAP, SCIM) and authentication tools (SSO, MFA)

  • Experience integrating IAM with HR systems (ideally SuccessFactors) and MDM platforms

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001

  • Experience with IAM automation (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs)

  • Relevant certifications are a plus
