Their seasoned sales team actively represents medical technologies to acute care facilities in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Dakotas, Michigan, Illinois, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio

This territory includes: WI, part of MN, and Dakotas 

Position Overview

The Cardiac Sales position will be responsible for maintaining and continuing to build a territory in excellent shape and strategic selling to cardiac surgeons, heart centers, academic centers and large health systems.   The Sales Rep will sell heart valves, valve repair products, endoscopic valves, beating heart products, and perfusion products.   

The Sales Rep will meet all of the existing customers, be trained on the products, utilize sales enablement tools, travel within the territory, become a clinical expert on Innomed products, work with the surgeons and staff, provide resources, understanding budgets, drive business, build the business plan, funnel executive functioning to be competent in the role, foster, grow and build trust with the clients.   Would need strong business acumen and sales aptitude to figure out how to build the territory.   

The ideal candidate will have strong surgical sales experience focusing on the cardiac space.  With a proven capability in delivering cardiac products successfully, ability to grow an existing territory to new levels, launching new products and an understanding of the cardiac space.

The role will be replacing a seasoned representative who is retiring, has been with the company for 15 years and will report to the Principal/Owner.

The successful individual will be adaptable and energized by a dynamic environment as a key member of their team working to grow the cardiac space within the assigned territory.  

 

Essential Job Functions:

Product and Training 

        Develop a strong business acumen necessary to articulate and sell the value of Innomed products

        Educate physicians and staff on the clinical benefits of Innomed products, deliver established messaging and best practices with confidence, enthusiasm and respect.

        Train and guide physicians and facility staff in the use of Innomed products prior to speaking with patients and available to ensure successful outcomes.

        Resolve customer issues or complaints, and relay customer feedback in a timely manner.

Sales 

        Effectively sell the clinical and strategic value of Innomed products to build market interest and support sales pipeline development. 

        Partner with Heart Centers, prospect, engage, build relationships and support efforts with new customers to meet sales objectives.

        Develop and execute sales strategies in the market to drive expansion of existing accounts.

        Assist in product demonstrations and evaluations to onboard new hospital systems, academic centers and physicians in the cardiac space and drive sales by pursuing and obtaining leadership approvals.

        Execute the sales plan to grow product awareness and increase volume with current and potential accounts.

Requirements:

        Bachelor’s degree  

        3+ years of experience in surgical cardiac space

        Must live near the Milwaukee area

        Experience in selling heart valves, working with Heart Surgeons in the OR and track record of success  

        Extensive time spent selling/launching cardiac products and building territories

        Strong network within heart centers, hospital systems, academic centers and/or physicians, who work in the cardiac space

        Self-starter with ability to function in a rapidly evolving environment

        Ability to switch between strategic and tactical roles

        Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills

        Ability to travel to meet job responsibilities
