Responsibilities:

• Direct Surgical Services departments' activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Required
• Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration - Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not current upon hire.
• State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure - Required
• Minimum 7 years of Clinical Nursing experience, with at least 3 years in Surgical Services, and 5 years of Management/Leadership experience - Required
• Experience with Cardiac Surgery Service Lines - Preferred
