Job Description
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys across multiple practice areas, including bankruptcy, corporate, litigation, real estate, environmental, and trusts & estates.
- Manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and schedule client appointments.
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
- Handle document management tasks, including filing, scanning, and organizing files using iManage or similar systems.
- Process client billing and time entry using InTapp or similar platforms.
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders professionally and effectively.
- Assist with PowerPoint presentations and Excel-based reporting, as needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with InTapp and iManage (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly client-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
