On-Call Hospice Nurse
Hybrid Remote Full-time with benefits
Responsibilities:
- 7 days on / 7 days off. 5pm-8am
- Respond to needs throughout entire service area.
- Triage all after hour and weekend calls.
- Patient emergency visits and pronouncements as necessary.
- Providing nursing care as needed including specialized skills.
- Assessing needs and communicating significant findings, problems, patient’s or family's needs.
- Communicate effectively with agency staff.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Hospice experience
- Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Excellent observation, problem solving and communication skills
- Compassion and integrity
- Comfortable with End-of-Life Care
