Must have at least (3) years of process safety experience within operations along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Safety or related technical degree.

Travel requirements up to 30% for facility PHA’s, Process Safety audits and related company meetings. Allowance for hybrid schedule up to (2) days at home.  

This role will support the distribution arm of the chemical business with multiple sites across the US and Canada with (220+) employees.  The EHS Department consists of the EHS Manager, Safety Superintendent, Environmental Superintendent, this role (PSM), Emergency Services/Security Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.  

Responsible for leading, coordinating and continuously improving the Process Safety program to achieve EHS excellence.  Serves as the distribution facilities (DF) liaison with the corporate EHS audit team during PSM/RMP audits; develops, maintains and improves electronic storage and workflow processes for all Process Safety related documents, including process safety information, process hazard analyses, operating procedures, MOC, pre-startup safety review, mechanical integrity, facility siting, etc.; coordinates and participates in PHA’s; serve as the DF representative on the Corporate Process Safety Council; lead root-cause investigations for Process Safety related incidents;
