Assistant Principal – Charter School | Sacramento, CA

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Principal to join our charter school client in Sacramento, CA. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative school community serving a diverse student population.
Partner with the Principal to support overall school operations, instructional programs, and staff development
Supervise and evaluate instructional and classified personnel
Oversee implementation of curriculum, instructional strategies, and professional development
Manage student services including behavior management, counseling, discipline, and safety protocols
Lead state assessments and data-driven instructional planning
Collaborate with parents, staff, community partners, and external stakeholders
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal education standards
Coordinate school operations including budgeting, facilities, and campus safety
Support a positive and inclusive school climate for all students and staff
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Valid California Administrative Services Credential or current enrollment in an approved Admin Internship Program (preferred)
Experience working with diverse student populations including Hmong, Spanish-speaking, African American, and English-only learners
Familiarity with special education and Section 504 processes
Knowledge of standards-based instruction, classroom observation practices, and instructional improvement models
Proven ability to lead with empathy, data, and decisiveness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
DOJ and FBI background clearance
Negative TB test
Ability to work on-site and travel locally for school business as needed
