We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas.
Position Overview:As a BCBA, you will work directly with individuals, families, and a team of professionals to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for clients of all ages. You will use your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess clients' needs and design individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavior change, skill development, and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify and analyze the root causes of behavior.
- Develop individualized treatment plans (BIPs) based on assessment data and client needs.
- Supervise and train behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA programs.
- Monitor and review client progress through data collection and analysis, making necessary adjustments to programs.
- Provide parent training and education to support behavior management and skill development at home.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment progress, and communications.
- Stay up-to-date on current research, trends, and best practices in ABA therapy.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, clients, and team members.
- Ability to adapt and think critically in dynamic environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing supervision to BCaBAs or behavior technicians.
- Familiarity with data collection and progress tracking software (e.g., Catalyst, Rethink, etc.).
- Experience with verbal behavior therapy (VBT) and/or other specialized ABA techniques.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus.
