Seeking an experienced Managing Director, Operations Strategy & Transformation to will lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of transformation initiatives across U.S. Wealth Management (WM) Operations. This role oversees the firm’s operations technology strategy, initiative prioritization, funding, and performance tracking, while driving strategic change that aligns with both U.S. Wealth Management and Global Wealth Management Operations objectives.
The Managing Director will serve as a key business partner to senior executives across Operations, Technology, Product, Compliance, and the Field to deliver best-in-class operational capabilities, drive innovation, and ensure consistent execution against strategic goals. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and transformation experience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale initiatives in complex, regulated environments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of leadership experience in securities, banking, or wealth management operations, with a strong background in operations strategy, transformation, or technology delivery.
10+ years of project management, vendor management, risk control, and/or analytical experience.
Proven track record of successfully implementing multiple large-scale transformation programs across complex, matrixed organizations.
Deep understanding of wealth management operations, technology platforms, and regulatory frameworks. FINRA Series 7 or 99 required; Series 27 preferred.
Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, funding cycles, and investment prioritization processes.
Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills - able to influence and present effectively at the executive and board levels.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Expertise in change management, governance structures, and program delivery best practices.
