Based in Alsip, IL, company is looking for a Regional Inventory Manager to manage and control regional inventory across their distribution network, improving inventory accuracy by incorporating the best supply chain practices, such as cycle count processes.

  • Responsible for inventory classification, control, and maintenance to ensure right balance amongst product availability, service level and NWC impact.
  • Accountable for measuring and improving inventory record accuracy across NA distribution network Responsible for ageing process in the region, control and understand the root causes avoiding SLOB increase, write-off, and reprocessing manufacturing cost.
  • Responsible to map opportunities in key building blocks for inventory balance such as: forecast accuracy, FEFO process and MPS conformance.
  • Responsible to lead SLOB attack task force in key feeder meetings such as RCCP and Demand Control, also IBP adequate forum.
  • Lead end to end supply chain best practices to minimize inventory loss and ensure right service level by sales business segment.
  • Responsible for performing inventory projections using planning output and statistical analysis; Control and report inventory performance, risks and opportunities weekly for tactical basis, monthly for integrated business planning basis and ensure the reports will bring drive actions to close any gap or leverage a sales opportunity.
  • Ensure finance partnership will be defined for all steps in inventory management process to deliver the right P&L impact information to influence the business for better decisions in inventory trade off (zero margin x extra cost or write-off and/or excess inventory risk vs service level).
  • Responsible for defining the new ways of working to connect full supply chain to manage and control inventory.
  • Lead inventory long-term process by sales business unit to ensure that action plans will deliver service level and keep inventory as planned.
  • Engage and educate the whole company about inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience using an Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) application.
  • Experience using an established ERP system.
  • Strong COGS and Statistical Understanding.

The base salary for this position ranges from $75,900 per year in our lowest geographic market to $96,700 per year in our highest geographic market. Compensation is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
