Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer individualized physical therapy Plans of Care to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, injury, or disease.
  • Evaluate physician referrals and patient medical records to determine treatment needs.
  • Plan and document treatment strategies based on thorough evaluations of patient data.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care.
  • Perform and document assessments, including range of motion, muscle tests, gait analysis, and ADL evaluations.
  • Provide treatments addressing musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems.
  • Motivate and assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and the use of assistive devices.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for third-party reimbursement and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in in-service training, QAA programs, and clinical performance appraisals.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist or recent DPT graduate.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
