We’re seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Sales professional in San Diego to win work and grow long-term client relationships.
Impact
Drive new business for HVAC projects from $1M to $7M.
Build trust with general contractors, building owners, and developers.
Support accurate estimates and smooth handoffs to operations.
Grow repeat business through strong project delivery and follow-up.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue bid/build and design-build project opportunities.
Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers.
Partner with estimators and PMs to prepare proposals and scopes.
Lead presentations and negotiate project terms with clients.
Track sales pipeline, close rates, and follow-up activities.
Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
Stay current on market trends, competitors, and client needs.
Requirements
Must-Haves
5+ years of commercial HVAC sales experience.
Strong local network in the San Diego construction market.
Track record of selling projects $1M–$7M.
Comfortable with estimating tools, scopes, and takeoffs.
Clear communicator with a proactive, relationship-first approach.
Nice-to-Haves
Background in HVAC field work or project management.
Experience with design-build or negotiated work.
Familiarity with Bluebeam, CRM, or estimating platforms.
OSHA 30 or construction safety experience.
