Job Title: Senior Human Resources Professional
Location: Scottsdale, AZ, Office-Based
Position Overview:The Senior Human Resources Professional will manage key aspects of people operations in construction and property management, overseeing the full employee life cycle from recruitment to onboarding and beyond. This role ensures compliance with relevant regulations and streamlines HR processes to support efficiency and effectiveness. You will partner in the creation of create strategic initiatives and lead their implementation, creating an environment where employees can thrive and perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the talent acquisition for junior- to mid-level professional hires.
- Lead the process to liaise with recruitment professionals for senior-level and managerial level hires.
HRIS Management:
- Lead the optimization and management of the HRIS to ensure accurate employee records and seamless HR processes.
- Troubleshoot HRIS issues, maintain data integrity and security, and drive continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Recruitment & Employee Life Cycle
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring smooth job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding.
- Manage off-boarding to ensure compliance with policies and maintain a positive experience for departing employees.
Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee the timely submission and tracking of federal, state, and other required compliance reports.
- Ensure the Employee Handbook is regularly updated to remain in alignment with current laws and regulations.
Training and Learning & Development (L&D)
- Lead the implementation and management of training and development programs, ensuring compliance with mandatory initiatives.
Benefits Administration
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for benefits inquiries, overseeing open enrollment and troubleshooting issues.
Confidentiality & Integrity
- Ensure employee information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and in compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Safeguard sensitive data and uphold ethical standards in all HR processes.
Innovation and Strategy Partner:
- Design and implement innovative HR policies that foster a culture of belonging and engagement across the organization.
- Research and stay ahead of emerging HR trends, integrating strategic, creative solutions to enhance employee experience and drive organizational success.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on generalist functions.
- Proficiency in Bamboo HR is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong skills in recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
