How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Develop precise demand forecasts using statistical modeling and data analysis, serving as the primary liaison among sales managers, business unit leaders, and key stakeholders to synchronize demand with inventory strategies.
  • Maintain and update the forecasting database monthly to support a proactive 12-month rolling planning process.
  • Streamline communication across departments to ensure all relevant parties are updated on forecast changes, enhancing collaborative efforts.
  • Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with fulfillment timelines across various locations.
  • Engage deeply in the annual sales planning and monthly S&OP forecast processes to gather necessary inputs and assess the effectiveness of current strategies.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements in forecasting accuracy and inventory management.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in forecasting and inventory management, with a strong foundation in communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with modern software packages and planning systems such as TM1.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in production or distribution environments, with a preference for candidates holding LEAN, APICs, or similar certifications.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen and convey information efficiently.
  • A strong collaborator who can build and sustain positive relationships across functions.
  • Committed to continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness.
