We are seeking a Senior Maintenance & Engineering Manager to head our maintenance and engineering department. This role is central to ensuring the optimal performance of plant equipment and facilities. The Senior Manager will lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities, manage capital projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position is pivotal in upholding our standards of safety, quality, and reliability.How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Develop and implement maintenance and engineering strategies that enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Manage the capital expenditure plan in coordination with the operations and finance teams.
  • Administer preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prolong the life of equipment.
  • Lead safety initiatives, promoting best practices and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of machinery and facilities.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and initiate corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and devise preventive strategies.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring effective tracking and execution.
  • Source and procure tools and resources to bolster maintenance efforts.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs for maintenance staff to elevate their technical skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation and new product development.
  • Inspire and develop the maintenance and engineering team, fostering a culture of professional growth and accountability.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or significant experience in Operations Management.
  • Over 7 years of experience in maintenance and engineering within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with full responsibility for maintenance and capital expenditure projects.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Over 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with food packaging materials and equipment.
  • PMP Certification and proficiency with CMMS and other relevant software.
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Advanced degrees in operations, business, or related fields.
