POSITION TITLE: Operational Excellence Manager, Global 

REPORTS TO: Global VP of Operations 

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA 

DIRECT REPORTS: None 

MISSION: We are seeking a visionary and experienced Manager of Operational Excellence to lead and drive high-profile, impactful projects that align with the company's Masterplan. This role  

involves spearheading initiatives across expansion, optimization, and process  

improvement, covering all aspects of supply chain and manufacturing. The successful candidate will leverage knowledge from these projects to deploy best practices in other regions as applicable efficiently. This position will require up to 30-40% travel globally. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

 Experience: • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous  Improvement, Lean Project Management, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading high-impact projects. 

• Global experience preferred 

Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred. 

Skills: • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

• Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies and tools. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's operational excellence and continuous improvement strategy in alignment with the Masterplan. This includes setting a clear vision for  operational excellence and ensuring all initiatives contribute to this vision 

• Project Oversight: Lead high-profile projects focused on expansion, optimization, and process improvement across supply chain and manufacturing. 

• Global Best Practices: Utilize insights and learnings from projects to implement best practices globally,  ensuring consistency and efficiency.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain,  manufacturing, sales, finance, and IT, to drive project success. Foster a team culture that values  collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives. Use these metrics to drive data-informed decision-making and track progress towards operational excellence. 

• Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and systems. Engage with employees at all levels to build support for changes and foster a culture of adaptability. 

• Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to build a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Equip teams with the tools and resources they need to succeed in their roles. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to communicate project progress, challenges,  and successes. Ensure transparency and build trust through regular updates and open communication.
