We’re seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter to perform MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication of structural steel components. You’ll help produce high-quality parts that meet customer standards for accuracy, safety, and delivery. This is a direct hire opportunity in the Columbus, OH area. 

What You’ll Do:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

• Fit, adjust, tack, and MIG weld steel components

• Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment

• Perform precision layout and measurement using hand tools

• Inspect welds and finished parts for quality

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Collaborate with team members and communicate progress to supervisors

• Work overtime as needed to meet production goals

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of welding/fabrication experience

• Able to pass an AWS D1.1 3G vertical weld test

• Solid blueprint reading and layout skills

• Experience with saws, grinders, and hand tools

• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred (training available)

• Must pass background check and drug screen

• Able to lift 25–50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
