We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician to perform complex mechanical assembly work involving fitting, alignment, and adjustment of components and assemblies to close tolerances. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, detailed work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity in the Columbus, OH area. 

What You’ll Do:

• Perform complex mechanical assembly using blueprints and work instructions

• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure accuracy and quality

• Fit, align, grind, and shim components to meet specifications

• Assemble and disassemble large products for shipping

• Touch up paint, clean, and prepare finished products for shipment

• Complete production and quality documentation

• Help train new team members and collaborate across departments

• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all safety guidelines

• Work overtime as needed to meet production goals

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong blueprint reading skills and mechanical aptitude

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments

• Basic computer and math skills

• Welding experience a plus

• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred (training available)

• Must pass background check and drug screen

• Able to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
