Test Technician

We are seeking a motivated Test Technician with 1–2 years of experience for a contract-to-direct opportunity in the Armada, MI area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills in automotive, motorcycle, or tractor mechanics, or prior experience testing automotive components—preferably in a laboratory environment.

  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction and assembly of basic lab apparatus or test equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Perform laboratory tests and component measurements, selecting and properly connecting test instrumentation systems to obtain specified test data
  • Support the preparation, setup and execution of test procedures.
  • Conducts tests following established prodocols, with supervision as needed 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard free laboratory area and evaluation area.
  • Perform all tests in a professional, safe and efficient manner.
 
Qualifications:
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to quickly grasp fundamental testing principles. 
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently. 
  • Computer proficiency, including basic data entry and reporting  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree or Trade school Certificate preferred.  
  • Prior automotive testing or related laboratory experience preferred.
