Our client is one of the fastest-growing startups dedicated to making homeownership accessible for all Americans, starting with their pilot program in Ohio. They are looking for a proactive and driven Loan Operations Manager to lead their Loan Ops department and help shape the future of our organization.

 

Job SummaryThe Loan Operations Manager will take full ownership of the Loan Ops projects, managing all aspects of loan operations from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on approach, including project management and customer service responsibilities, ensuring that best practices are followed and problems are solved promptly.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all loan operations, from origination to servicing.
  • Develop and implement best practices for efficient loan processing.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Familiarity with loan systems and processes (experience with DocMagic is a plus)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loan systems and processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries.
  • Manage projects related to the Loan Ops department, ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitor and report on department performance metrics.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly.

Note: Their current loan application process is handled manually as they build and refine their systems. As they grow, they plan to transition to a fully automated application process. They seek candidates who are adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.

 

Qualifications

  • NMLS licensed in the State of Ohio
  • Proven ability to take full ownership of work from start to finish
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project execution
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building positive client relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on finance
  • Experience in loan operations and management
  • Familiarity with loan systems and processes
  • Knowledge of loan servicing and compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently
