Biotech Medical Affairs National Director - East Coast Based
 
Young growing Biotech is seeking a National Director of Medical Affairs leadership opportunity.  This position will have 4 - 6 reports and work collaboratively with the sales and marketing team.  Must be based near any major airport on the east coast, TX, or Chicago. 
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining KOL database used for alignment, targeting, formulary tracking, advisory meetings.
  • Supporting internal training with educational activities, Journal Clubs for the sales team and new hires.
  • Developing and delivering external group educational sessions.
  • Building relationships with medical thought leaders, clinical practitioners and hospital pharmacy decision makers.
 
 
Base City: Atlanta, Tampa, Charlotte, Newark, Dallas, or Chicago
 
Geography Covered: US
Travel Requirements: 50%
Relocation Provided: NO
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • Needs to be an MD, PhD, PharmD.  
  • Ideal candidate has cardiac, EP MSL experience. 
  • 5 years previous pharmaceutical industry experience as a MSL, ideally with some leadership experience. 
  • In depth understanding of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, OIG guidleines is required. 
  • Ability to excel in a smaller entrepreneurial organization. 
  • Ability to create strong, compelling scientific arguments. 
  • Excellent project management skills and follow through.

 

Compensation:

Base Salary: $190,000.00 TO $190,000.00
Total Comp @ Plan: $210,000.00 TO $220,000.00
Compensation: Equity
 
Car Allowance: Yes (MOTUS)
