About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Miami. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and policies to improve financial operations and reporting.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, offering insights and recommendations for financial planning.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
