We are currently seeking a highly motivated Histology technician (HT) to join our anatomic pathology laboratory in West Palm Beach. You should apply if you have general histology experience. The HT is responsible for embedding, microtomy, and staining of specimens. What you'll be doingJob Responsibilities• Properly embed processed tissue with correct orientation.• Cutting paraffin blocks of various tissue types/size.• Preparation of reagents and monitor inventory.• Operate and maintain instrumentation.• Maintains laboratory quality assurance and quality control records.• Comply with safety policies and standard operating procedures.About you (Minimum Requirements):• Certified HT or HTL (ASCP) preferred.• Meets CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing.• 1 years of previous experience• Works with minimal supervisionWhat is offered (Among other perks):· Competitive salary based on experience and certification· Medical, dental, vision and FSA · PTO & Sick Leave· HolidaysJob Type: Full-time• 8 hour day shift
