Our law firm client in Philadelphia is looking to hire a defense paralegal on a full tine basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of defense litigation experience preferably in product/premises liability.  Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.  The role will be supporting several attorneys in all stages of litigation (initial case assessment through trial/post trial procedures).

• Salary - $65,000+ based on experience and skills
• Benefits - PTO, 401K plan with profit sharing, health and dental insurance and firm paid life, std and ltd insurance. 
• Schedule - hybrid; 9 am to 5 p.m. - 35 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, calendars, and deadlines.
• Draft subpoenas
• Conduct factual and legal research using online databases, public records, and internal resources.
• Coordinate and manage the discovery process, including document collections, productions, privilege logs, and third-party subpoenas.
• Prepare deposition summaries, medical chronologies, and case timelines.
• Assist with witness preparation and deposition scheduling.
• Communicate with clients, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel professionally and efficiently.
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial notebooks, coordinating logistics, and providing on-site or virtual trial support.
• Perform docketing and ensure compliance with court rules, filing procedures, and deadlines.
• Support attorneys with administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient case progression.
