COMMERCIAL FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate Attorney to join their Atlanta office. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside top-tier attorneys while representing national financial institutions in complex financing transactions.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia (or willingness to obtain admission).
  • 2+ years of substantive commercial finance and real estate finance experience.
  • Proven experience representing traditional and non-traditional lenders and/or borrowers in a variety of financing transactions.
  • Background in structuring, negotiating, and documenting acquisition financing, working capital facilities, and letter of credit transactions.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Work well on a team and individually, highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as counsel to national financial institutions in the area of real estate finance transactions.
  • Represent lenders and borrowers in a wide range of commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, acquisition financing, and asset-based lending.
  • Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and other financing documents.
  • Advise financial institutions on regulatory and compliance matters related to commercial lending.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute financing strategies.
  • Manage deal flow and oversee transactional due diligence.
