We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Area Operations Manager for Ready Mix. This role is crucial for overseeing and enhancing the operations of our concrete batching plants in the Syracuse area. We are looking for a leader who can drive growth, optimize processes, and ensure top-tier performance across all operational facets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of multiple concrete batching plants locally.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and improve operational performance.
• Oversee Plant Managers, Drivers, Maintenance, and Support Teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor production schedules, dispatch operations, and inventory management.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Initiate and drive process improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the ready-mix concrete or heavy construction industry.
• Proven track record in managing plant or area operations.
• In-depth knowledge and exposure to ready-mix concrete operations.
• DOT experience is considered an advantage.
