Overview:

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking architectural and engineering firm as an Associate Principal Architect, where you will take a leadership role within the Georgia Community Practice. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed market leaders to shape the strategic direction and long-term vision of the practice.

Key Qualities:

  • A seasoned professional with a minimum of 12 years in architectural planning and project management.
  • Experience with local government projects such as Town Halls, Police and Fire Stations, and libraries. Additional experience with Churches, Museums, or Industrial projects is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop young professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration and client relationships.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
  • Holds a Professional Architect Licensure (RA) and a professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and mentorship of a talented team, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Partner with other Principals to develop and execute annual business development plans.
  • Oversee marketing, contract development, design, production, and construction administration efforts.
  • Engage in succession planning, preparing the next generation of leaders within the firm.
  • Efficiently manage communication between clients, team members, and consultants.
  • Serve as a Project Manager when required, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Support revenue and billing processes in collaboration with administrative teams.
