Position Summary:

An esteemed industry leader in emergency management consulting is seeking an Assistant Vice President - Recovery Unit. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Response and Recovery to oversee the daily operations of the Business Unit. Responsibilities include business development, policy implementation, staff supervision, and support for operational and management objectives. Additionally, you may serve as an engagement manager for projects, ensuring seamless client interactions and project success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Vice President in administering the Disaster Recovery Business Unit.

• Manage advisory services related to disaster recovery, ensuring compliance and optimizing funding for rebuilding efforts.

• Provide mentorship and supervision to assigned staff, fostering their career growth.

• Act as an engagement manager for projects and oversee project management when assigned.

• Collaborate with the Vice President to establish and maintain performance standards for deliverables.

• Monitor budgets for contracts and ensure profitability and staff utilization targets are met.

• Fulfill all assigned duties and participate in required compliance training.

• Potential for remote work with up to 75% travel required.
