Adding a Controls Engineer to join a well-established global manufacturer specializing in advanced fuel system components used in both on-road and off-road vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on work with control systems, product testing, and automation in a collaborative, technically driven environment.

What You’ll Do as a Controls Engineer:

As a Controls Engineer, you’ll participate in the design, development, testing, and application of electronic control systems and components for fuel system products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing solutions, enhance product reliability, and support new product development.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Define, design, program, and debug real-time control and data acquisition systems

  • Support both large and small-scale testing projects with cross-functional teams

  • Improve testing methods and develop new processes for enhanced product performance

  • Design new products or variations of existing systems (pumps, engine control strategies, etc.)

  • Communicate technical results and progress through presentations and reports

  • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block layouts

What We’re Looking For in a Controls Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, controls, or product testing

  • General knowledge of electronic hardware (sensors, actuators, motors)

  • Experience with LabVIEW, PLC ladder logic, or other embedded control languages

  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment and instrumentation

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn about diesel fuel injection systems and engine test development
