Our client, a global leader in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), is seeking a Legal Office Manager / Associate Business Manager to oversee case management operations, team performance, and client relationships within a fast-paced legal and business services environment. This role supports the daily management of a Resolution Center (RC), ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and a high level of service delivery to clients and panelists.

The ideal candidate will have experience in legal operations, case or client management, and team leadership — with a focus on driving quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage the day-to-day operations of a Resolution Center or team, including staff oversight, case workflow, and process improvement initiatives.

·       Supervise and mentor a team of case managers to ensure deadlines, accuracy, and quality service standards are consistently met.

·       Oversee the administration of case files throughout the entire lifecycle—from initial intake and panelist selection to closure.

·       Collaborate with panelists (including retired judges, attorneys, and ADR professionals) to develop and maintain their practices.

·       Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in arbitration and mediation processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

·       Support business development and client relationship management efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.

·       Monitor and report on operational metrics to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

·       Partner with leadership to implement new policies, technology tools, and best practices for case management and team coordination.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

·       5+ years of experience in legal office management, case management, or ADR operations.

·       Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

·       Strong understanding of legal processes, dispute resolution, or arbitration case flow.

·       Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client service skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with case management or CRM software preferred.

·       Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Work Environment

• Hybrid or on-site role based in Detroit, Michigan.
• Professional office environment with occasional travel for meetings or training.

Salary

$85,000 – $109,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and additional performance-based incentives
(Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.)
