ATHENA is hiring a full-time, on-site Accounts Payable Specialist in Dayton, Oregon, offering a competitive hourly rate of $26 - $27.

Responsibilities:

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will process invoices, verify approvals, and ensure accurate account coding.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve AP-related inquiries.
• Manage payments, monitor discounts, and track expense allocations.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles, company policies, and AP best practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger coding, accruals, and 3-way matching.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word (Oracle experience a plus).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, essential for an Accounts Payable Specialist.
