Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and oversee our sales operations in the Denver CO Region. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record of driving sales growth in the distribution industry. This individual will have a hands-on approach, able to roll up their sleeves and lead by example, while mentoring and motivating a team to achieve ambitious sales targets. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Reps, while also managing key accounts, developing new business, and ensuring the overall success of the sales team within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and development to ensure success across all team members.
  • Territory Management: Oversee sales strategies and performance within your assigned region, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to maximize revenue generation and market share.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive, high-energy culture within the sales team. Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance reviews to ensure continuous growth and success.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet regional goals, drive business growth, and strengthen relationships with key clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential customers, working to understand their needs and offer tailored distribution solutions.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on the region's sales performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with operations, marketing, and other internal teams to align on goals, improve customer satisfaction, and streamline the distribution process.
  • Problem Solving: Address any challenges or issues promptly, offering innovative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions, using insights to inform sales strategies and drive competitive advantage.
  • Hands-on Sales Activities: Actively participate in sales calls, meetings, and negotiations, setting the standard for customer interaction and driving sales success within your region.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and manage sales teams to achieve and exceed goals.
  • "Roll up your sleeves" mentality with a hands-on approach to sales and team development.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to drive business growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet customer needs and achieve company goals.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
