Job Summary

Opportunity for a software engineer or recent graduate of Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with academic training in software code development and systems integration embedded processors and Linux and Windows systems. We are looking for an innovative junior engineer proficient with Matlab data analysis tools and software development with limited hardware and firmware integration knowledge. This software engineer will work under the direction of a Senior Systems Engineer to help develop and test new NAVSYS Positioning Navigation and Timing (PNT) products. This software engineer will use Matlab, C/C++, HTML, JavaScript, and Linux-based tools, which enable PNT data analysis and signal processing. The software engineer will assist with writing Matlab test routines and testing software code to support the development of PNT solutions and write documentation while learning a lot about PNT.

Job Requirements

The following are requirements for consideration:

U.S. citizenship is required; an active secret clearance is a plus. At a minimum, you must be security clearance eligible
Can demonstrate high proficiency in utilizing Matlab, familiarity with Linux, and C/C++ is a plus
Familiarity with software-defined radios is a plus
Basic familiarity with how GPS works
Possesses strong analytical skills
Possesses an interest in GPS or Aerospace Engineering

Salary and Benefits

NAVSYS offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision plans; life and STD/LTD disability insurance; a 401K retirement plan; vacation and holiday leave; and an educational assistance program.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, dependent on experience, skill level, and the extent to which the candidate meets desired requirements
