Overview:Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of People Services to lead the organization’s human resources efforts. This role emphasizes employee engagement, talent management, and fostering a family-friendly culture while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and recommend goals and objectives for HR programs, enhancing co-worker relations and organizational culture.
  • HR Program Management: Implement and oversee initiatives to improve employee relations and support organizational success.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with goals for staffing, recruitment, and retention.
  • Talent Management: Identify and address staffing needs while executing effective hiring and talent acquisition practices.
  • HR Team Oversight: Supervise HR staff managing recruitment, policies, and training programs to improve organizational productivity.
  • Employee Relations: Investigate workplace concerns, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals, offering guidance and solutions.
  • Onboarding: Oversee onboarding processes and ensure orientation programs are effective and up-to-date.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department’s budget to maintain fiscal responsibility.
  • Performance Management: Provide guidance on hiring, promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions to support organizational performance.
  • Recruitment Oversight: Collaborate with Nursing Administration and Ancillary Department Leaders to direct advertising and outreach for recruitment.
  • Policy Training: Offer communication and training to directors and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present required reports and analyses to senior leadership.

 

 

Qualifications – Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR management principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 

 

Qualifications – Nice to Haves:

  • SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.

 

 

 

Compensation:

  • Salary: $82,300 - $115,200 per year
  • Signing Bonus: Negotiable
