We are recruiting for a very nice apartment complex in Cuyahoga Falls that has an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician, Below are the details- This is a direct hire position and comes with a good salary and very comprehensive benefits plan.Maintenance TechnicianThis position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural facilities and grounds on the site.Essential Duties:Completes all service request within 48-hours of the callMaintains all grounds, including daily trash removal, snow and ice removalRehabilitate apartments for new move-insComply with all EPA requirements for Lead, Asbestos, Freon, Radon, Etc.Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with local, state and federal OSHA regulationsRespond to on-call maintenance emergencies at any hourRespond to snow and ice events on any day at any hourCleaning and housekeeping duties of common areas and vacant unitsVacant utility expense controlOther duties as may be necessary to achieve the owners goals and objectivesReports to: This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training or experienceCertified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) designation from NAA preferredEPA Type II or Universal Certification1 year in facilities maintenanceHighly motivated and detail orientedBasic computer skills necessary to navigate the various system Ability to lift 50 poundsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to respond 24-hours a day to emergency situations and work weekends and holidays if neededAbility to read and comprehend the English languageAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
