The opportunity for a Full-time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) offers a rewarding experience for dedicated professionals seeking to enhance the quality of life for patients in a home setting. As a PTA, you will collaborate closely with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Your role will involve applying therapeutic exercises, guiding patients through functional activities, and supporting them in their daily living tasks with compassion and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing patient-specific treatment plans under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer both manual and non-manual physical therapy exercises.
• Educate and motivate patients to engage in their rehabilitation process actively.
• Document patient progress and modify treatments as necessary, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards.
• Conduct follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients.
• Ensure eligibility requirements for home health services are consistently met.
• Perform maintenance therapy as needed.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and be prepared for travel to patients’ homes.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Valid in-state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A minimum of one year of experience in home health as a PTA.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a caring disposition.
• Possess a clean DMV record.
