Our client is looking to hire an experienced Associate to join their Consumer Financial Services practice group in Virginia Beach, VA. Ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience. Individuals with business litigation experience interested in practicing law with a nationally recognized group handling matters across the country are encourage to apply. A Virginia Bar License is required and the following experience is a plus:• Commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions• Mortgage, auto and credit card litigationCandidates must have strong academic performance and writing ability. Candidates must also be in good standing in Virginia with a desire to handle depositions and hearings. Admissions to other bars will be considered a plus. The Consumer Financial Services practice group focuses on a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including bank and non-bank consumer lenders, credit reporting, background screening, fair housing, debt collection, credit repair, auto finance, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending and payment processing.
