Regional Service Manager

Location: Mississauga, ON

Hybrid – 3 Days in Office / 2 Days remote

Hours of Operation: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation: Depends on experience.

Our client is a multi-national global machine manufacturer of Metal Fabrication machines sold throughout North America, Europe and Japan. The Canadian office located in Mississauga, ON is searching for a Regional Service Manager to manage day-to-day service operations of the Central Ontario region. (All of Ontario). The Regional Service Manager is a very transactional role having complete oversight of service co-ordinators and service technicians within the region.

You will be responsible for:

·      Lead and manage a group of Service Technicians and Service Co-ordinator within the Central Ontario region.

·      Daily scheduling of Service Technicians, checking service hours and identify areas of improvement.

·      Visit customers on a regular basis, maintain communication with key clients and address service concerns while maintaining long-term relationships

·      Regular training and development of services staff to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience managing a service team in Central Ontario (10 Service Technicians , 2 Service Co-ordinators)
  • Responsible of re-new Maintenanance Plans and Warranty and Service Plans. 
  • Visits to key customers within Ontario maintaining a strong relationship with external clients and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Metal Fabrication machinery processes, customers within metal fabrication and issues related to metal fabrication is an asset.

Our client has a healthy revenue stream, and this role is open due to a re-structuring of the Service department in the Canadian marketplace. We require an individual with strong skills supervising Service Technicians in an OEM and Machine Manufacturing environment to help our client grow to the next level.
