Compensation Range: $140,000 - $155,000

Join our esteemed family-owned winery, dedicated to crafting premium wines and enriching our customers' experiences by integrating wine into daily life. We seek a skilled Controller to provide strategic financial leadership and ensure robust financial processes in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage and forecast cash flow effectively.
• Oversee financial consolidation across multiple entities.
• Ensure accuracy in all accounting reconciliations.
• Prepare CA/TTB tax reports and manage compliance with external consultants.
• Lead and motivate a team of accounting professionals.
• Handle bank reporting and maintain compliance.
• Implement robust internal control processes.
• Analyze complex financial data and recommend profitability improvements.
• Direct annual financial statement reviews and tax preparations.
• Engage in additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Suite is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a strong grasp of GAAP.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs and extended periods of desk work.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.
