Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a driven junior-level Associate Attorney to join its nationally-recognized Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising (TCIA) Practice Group in Seattle. This is an exciting opportunity to advise leading companies—from innovative startups to Fortune 500 corporations—on trademark, copyright, online, and IP matters at both the U.S. and international level.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing
  • 2–4 years of substantive experience in trademarkcopyright, or related intellectual property law
  • Experience with US and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, and enforcement
  • Familiarity with TTAB proceedings, UDRP disputes, and copyright counseling, filing, and prosecution strongly preferred
  • Prior experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or boutique practice preferred
  • Soft Skills: Excellent legal writing and research skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on US and international trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement
  • Represent clients in TTAB proceedings and UDRP domain name disputes
  • Counsel clients on copyright registration, filing, prosecution, and enforcement strategies
  • Provide legal guidance on internet, advertising, and online intellectual property matters
  • Manage a broad range of trademark, copyright, and domain name issues for clients across industries
  • Deliver practical, business-minded solutions to support companies at all stages of growth

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $235,000 to $310,000, as determined by experience and market factors
