MID-LEVEL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Miami. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven litigator to work on sophisticated disputes while learning from a nationally recognized team. The position offers hands-on experience across all stages of litigation, as well as meaningful mentorship and professional development.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
4-6 years of general litigation experience across a broad range of practices.
Prior law firm experience is required.
Highly proficient in managing cases from inception to resolution, including conducting legal research, preparing for trial, drafting legal documents, and appearing in court.
Completion of a federal court clerkship is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a meticulous attention to detail and sound business judgment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication, writing, legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cases from inception to resolution, including participating in depositions, hearings, and trials.
Support senior attorneys in case development, strategy, and client communications.
Handle trial preparation and discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and reviewing evidence.
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
Engage in pro bono matters to support underserved communities.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $310,000-$390,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
