An international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its renowned Copyright & Technology Litigation Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-defining cases at the intersection of technology and copyright law—helping shape the future of digital rights, media, and content protection for global clients.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 3–4 years of substantive experience with intellectual property matters, including copyright litigation, in a law firm setting
  • Undergraduate coursework and technical background working at the intersection of technology and copyright law, particularly emerging tech
  • Strong writing, oral advocacy, and research skills, as well as the ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A proactive, leadership-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and eagerness to take on increasing levels of responsibility
 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent major technology, media, and entertainment clients in high-profile copyright and digital rights litigation
  • Draft motions, briefs, and pleadings and manage discovery and pre-trial strategy
  • Conduct complex legal research and analyze technical materials relevant to litigation strategy
  • Collaborate with senior litigators and cross-functional teams to develop innovative legal arguments
  • Advise clients on copyright compliance, fair use, platform liability, and enforcement strategy

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $260,000 – $310,000, commensurate with experience and class year.

  • Discretionary merit bonus eligibility.
