Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Stick Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a construction or manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials,primarily Stick, ensuring precision and quality.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate and assemble components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to complete projects accurately.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding with expertise in Stick, with a preference also in MIG, TIG, FCAW, and other welding methods.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery such as plasma cutters and machining equipment.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics for effective assembly.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
• Experience with soldering techniques is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while performing welding tasks.
