The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics, and possess a solid understanding of mechanical principles. Duties

• Operate equipment for TIG welding to fabricate metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
• Perform assembly tasks on various components, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and standards.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in TIG stick welding.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge, fabrication processes, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
• Knowledge of machining processes, soldering techniques, and assembly practices is advantageous.
