We have partnered with Svalinn who has set the gold standard in the protection dog industry to recruit an Operations Manager for their facility in Livingston, MT.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at the elite protection dog training facility. This role coordinates staff, schedules, dog programs, and client visits to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and brings strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations and adjust workflows as priorities shift.
- Build and manage staff schedules; support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance.
- Coordinate weekly training schedules, dog deliveries, follow-on sessions, and boarding needs.
- Ensure facilities, dogs, and staff are prepared for client visits.
- Manage inventory, supplies, vendor relationships, and basic facility maintenance.
- Track operational data, support reporting, and maintain cross-team communication.
- Uphold safety, compliance, and quality standards across all operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations, facility management, or similar leadership roles.
- Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and team-management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working hands-on with dogs and learning handling techniques.
- Able to work on your feet in indoor/outdoor conditions.
- Professional presence and discretion when working with high-end clients.

Schedule/Benefits
This position is a full time five day/week in person leadership role in Livingston, MT. Eventually, there can be some travel involved with dog delivery and yearly recertification if desired.
