Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

 

The HRIS Administrator leads all HR technology systems and programs. This individual optimizes the efficiency of HR systems through planning, implementation, ongoing maintenance, managing new developments, and end-user training. Comprehensive Workday experience is required, including implementation. Essential skills include time management, organization, and advanced technology. An ideal candidate has reporting, business process configuration, and customer-central experience.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the lead system administrator by planning, executing, and implementing HRIS projects
  • Serve as the technical contact by assisting with process enhancement opportunities for platform-related workflows, the testing of system changes, and the integration with other business applications
  • Oversee and facilitate continuous change management related to implementation, new developments, and integration
  • Analyze system testing and user feedback
  • Identify the root cause of issues impacting system functionality and user experience
  • Support HR functions including people metrics, complex reporting, and predictive analytics
  • Ensure end users are properly trained for system use and SOPs are updated with current documentation
  • Act as the liaison between the HRIS vendor and the Human Resources department, as well as other stakeholders
  • Utilize SQL to build reports and data analytics
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends, laws, policies, procedures, regulations, and issues affecting the area of expertise
  • Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with Workday HR systems and human capital management
  • Experience with Web Services and APIs
  • Excellent SQL knowledge and skillset, certification preferred
  • Excellent math skills and data analytics skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing Workday as an HRIS Administrator.
  • Advanced proficiency in generating reports within Workday.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
  • Ability to analyze and resolve difficult or complex problems 
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
  • Ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
