The Property Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the apartment community while overseeing and enhancing the value of the property. This individual will aid in organizing the property's financial information, using this information to make projections, and find areas of improvement for the property. Some key responsibilities consist of marketing and outreach, supervision of property staff, and providing services to residents. The property manager reports directly to the regional manager. This job is perfect for a team player who is motivated by setting and upholding standards to make their property stand out from the rest.

 

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing and upholding community policies.
  • Maintaining and reviewing property financial goals and reports.
  • Maintaining occupancy goals for the property.
  • Team building and development of the leasing and maintenance staff.
  • Planning office schedules and task assignment.
  • Maintain property operations and the physical asset.
  • Administer tours and answer questions for prospective residents.
  • Resolve resident concerns and maintain overall resident satisfaction for the property.
  • Create and maintain property and team leasing and marketing plans.
  • Marketing outreach within nearby community.
  • Lead maintenance team and collaborate with maintenance supervisor.
  • Overseeing large scale capital projects.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of Property Management experience required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff and supervisor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Entrata or related programs a plus
  • Strong customer service skills, positive attitude
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Experience with budgeting and variance reporting required
  • Lease up experience preferred
  • Strives in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to problem solve and comfortable resolving conflict
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and team oriented
  • High-school diploma, bachelor's degree a plus
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug test
  • Valid Driver's License with auto insurance
  • Saturdays are required on a rotating schedule, when a Saturday is worked you do get a day off during the week
